Who We Are
In 1978, Len and Virginia Bertram embarked on an exciting journey by launching their own electrical business in the vibrant and rapidly growing city of Calgary. They embraced the emerging possibilities and opportunities that the spirit of Calgary offered to those with an ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset.

With a strong commitment to integrity, quality, and community, they aimed to create a business that not only flourished but also played a significant role in enhancing the prosperity of the city. Bertram Electric Ltd. quickly became a valued partner for new home builders, renovators, and homeowners alike, earning a reputation built on trust and exceptional service.
As the years progressed, their son Kurt stepped into the business, becoming a Master Electrician and bringing in fresh ideas. Together with Len, they strengthened Bertram Electric Ltd., continuing the legacy and dedication that Len and Virginia established.​
​​In 2013, when Calgary faced the devastating floods, Bertram Electric was proud to stand at the forefront of recovery efforts. We rolled up our sleeves to help our neighbors, ensuring homes were safe and ready to be re-energized. We rewired properties and implemented protective measures to safeguard against future disasters. It was truly fulfilling to embody the Calgary Spirit, supporting one another during challenging times.
